Michael P. Desronvil, the only remaining juror in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial, reported his certainty during the tense deliberations.

Michael P. Desronvil, the only remaining juror in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial, stated that he had no doubts during his tense and multi-day deliberations. These remarks came after the judge announced a hung jury earlier this month.

No Doubt in the Evidence

Desronvil said: "I had no doubts. While I was trying to explain different opinions during the deliberations, I was constantly interrupted, as if I had doubts based on the evidence presented." He added: "Given all the physical evidence, key witnesses, and what the prosecution presented, I thought it was enough to show that she (Clancy) knew exactly what she was doing and had planned it."

Response from Desronvil's Attorney

Desronvil's attorney, Edward Andrew Paltzik, stated that his client will not give any interviews at this time and urged the media to respect his privacy. He added: "We are fully focused on his health, safety, and well-being. There will be time to respond and tell the true story of the Lindsay Clancy trial, but not now."

The 12-member jury, which included 9 women and 3 men, ultimately could not reach a unanimous verdict. Judge William Sullivan asked them twice to announce their opinion on the deadlock, and after that, the judge had to announce on September 4 that the trial was suspended due to the deadlock.

Trial Details

The jury was tasked with determining whether Clancy was guilty of murdering her three children, Cora (5 years old), Dawson (3 years old), and Callan (8 months old) using exercise bands on January 24, 2023. Clancy's defense attorney, Kevin Reddington, claimed that she was in an unstable mental state at the time of the murders, while prosecutors insisted that Clancy was aware of her actions and had premeditated the murders.

Clancy's ex-husband, Patrick Clancy, and her new husband, Dr. Rachel Danis, are set to speak about the case for the first time on a television program on Sunday. According to Desronvil's statements, five other jurors have also spoken on social media about his behavior during deliberations, expressing concerns about his inattentiveness and dissatisfaction.
